Zoom: Breath with curators Hayley Ferber and Kristin Reed
Hosted by Joyce Raimondo, Education Coordinator at the Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center — a national landmark in East Hampton
Thursday, February 12 from 1-2 pm
How does calmness foster creativity? Lee Krasner said “With Jackson there was quiet solitude. Just to sit and look at the landscape. An inner quietness. After dinner, to sit on the back porch and look at the light.”
In a world that feels increasingly overstimulated and demanding, the current exhibition Breathe at Westbeth Gallery in Manhattan offers a space for serenity. Join co-curators Hayley Ferber and Kristin Reed as they take us on a walkthrough of the exhibition. Featuring work by members of the New York Artists Circle, the exhibition explores breath not only as a fundamental human necessity, but as an invitation to pause, recenter and find calm.
