Free Workshop
Limited to 12 participants. RSVP required.
In this hands-on workshop led by Hayley Ferber (2023 & 2024 RU curator alum), participants will discover how everyday materials can be transformed into beautiful, functional books through creative bookbinding with recycled elements.
Using items such as scrap paper, discarded packaging, and found materials, participants will learn simple binding techniques to construct unique handmade books. Through cutting, folding, and stitching, students will give new life to overlooked materials while exploring the expressive possibilities of sustainable book arts.
All levels are welcome. Materials are provided and participants will leave with their own one-of-a-kind handmade book.
